The Global Actuary : A Project and a Challenge for the Future of the Actuarial Profession

Global Actuary is the new challenge of actuaries. I would like to highlight the most important contents of this challenge looking to the future, wider fields and systemic risk towards a large actuarial view not limited only to the traditional field but looking to largest and significant risks. Our task is always to find right models to evaluate these risks, but it is necessary also to evolve the actuarial mentality to give a contribution to the well being of the Society, to the Government and from a general point of view to help and to support all the decision makers when they face an uncertainty’s situation. So, I wish to illustrate in details this project; it was launched in Italy some months ago during our last Congress in Rome in november 2021 and it is full of these contens and goals but also ambitious, only based on the passage from manager actuary to global actuary, a significant step.

My goal is to share with the international community of Actuaries this project and experience.
