The European Actuary No 31 | The Future is Innovation FULL INTERVIEW

The CEO and chairman of Austria’s UNIQA Insurance Group, Andreas Brandstetter, was elected president of Insurance Europe in 2018. Last year that mandate was unanimously extended by the European insurance and reinsurance federation for a further three years. That’s good news for the industry, because Brandstetter, who has headed UNIQA since 2011, has a wealth of experience, but more importantly a great vision of the future of the industry.
